While his wife Charlene is still held in South Africa for health reasons, Prince Albert II of Monaco decided to break the silence in an interview with the French magazine Point de vue, to be discovered this Wednesday, November 3 in newsstands. Grace Kelly’s son made it known that he missed the mother of his children very much.
You miss one person and everything is depopulated. While the absence of Princess Charlene has given rise to many rumors, some of them damaging to their couple, Prince Albert has decided to come out of silence. In the new issue of Point de vue, to be discovered this Wednesday, November 3 on newsstands, the son of Grace Kelly gave news of his wife and spoke about his upcoming return to The Rock. “She is much better. This last operation, which concerned the nasal septum, went very well,” he said in preamble. Before announcing a happy news: “We are going to be able to consider her return very soon. And I can tell you that she will be in Monaco well before the national holiday. It is not possible for me to specify the exact date, but I promise you that you will know when the time comes.”
A relief for the Monegasque sovereign, separated from his wife for several months already, but also for their two children, Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. “It is obvious that they miss their mother. And I miss her too,” said Albert of Monaco, eager to silence the gossip about his relationship with Charlene. If we believe the new confidences of the brother of Stephanie and Caroline of Monaco, the Monegasque princely family should soon be reunited.
Albert of Monaco affected by the rumors
The long absence of Charlene of Monaco has questioned more than one. This extended stay in South Africa, where she underwent several operations, has given rise to the worst rumors about the Monegasque royal couple. Criticism that “affected” Prince Albert: “These publications that appeared in various places were extremely disturbing and hurtful. For my wife, for me and for Monaco,” he said in the columns of Point de vue.
If they did not communicate at the beginning on the state of health of the former professional swimmer, it is because she wanted to keep it to herself: “My wife did not want to talk too much about her personal health problems, we preferred the option of communicating little about it. Like many things in life, it is a question of balance and choices to be made,” said the father of twins Jacques and Gabriella. In this ordeal, Albert of Monaco was able to count on the precious support of his clan: “The presence of the whole family was for my children and me a great encouragement and an extraordinary support”, he said.
