According to an interview with the Princess of Monaco for “Point of View” in 2019, Jacques and Gabriella could fight over who would spend more time with their mother. This Friday, December 10, 2021, Princess Charlene broke the silence for their seventh anniversary.
They have grown up well. The twins Jacques and Gabriella of Monaco celebrated their seventh birthday this Friday, December 10, 2021. While she rarely spills the beans on her private life, their mother, Charlene of Monaco, had confided on her relationship with her children in an interview with Point of View in 2019, as recalled by the Daily Express this December 10. “When I’m alone with them, the kids fight over who will sleep with mom. They love to climb into our bed, so we get a little cramped. And all this without counting our two dogs, Poppy and Harley! The latter also admitted that raising twins could be “often exhausting” although “very stimulating in many areas”.
Despite a little rivalry for their mother’s love, they were “incredibly affectionate and kind to each other,” said Charlene of Monaco. “They talk to each other all the time. Like all children, they can sometimes be a little abrupt, a little harsh even in their exchanges, but they support each other unconditionally,” she added.
Charlene’s tender birthday message for the twins
Their birthday this December 10 was an opportunity for their mother, who has been recovering in recent weeks due to “deep general fatigue,” to speak for the first time since her withdrawal from public life on November 19, according to the Daily Express. On Instagram, the princess posted three cute photos of her two children, in matching pajamas and surrounded by multi-colored balloons, in front of two birthday cakes. “Happy birthday my babies. Thank you God for blessing me with such wonderful children. I am truly blessed. Love you mommy,” she signed in the caption of her post.
