A year ago, Charlene of Monaco officially appeared for the last time at the St. Devotee celebrations. Still recovering from health problems, she was unable to attend the event this year. However, the office of Prince Albert of Monaco has given reassuring news of the princess.
On January 26, the entire Monegasque principality was present at the celebrations of Saint Devote, patron saint of Monaco. A major event during which the inhabitants of the Rock could see Prince Albert of Monaco, accompanied by his children. However, a personality was unfortunately missing: Princess Charlene of Monaco.
Due to her recent health problems, the princess – who recently celebrated her 44th birthday on January 25 – was unable to take part in the festivities. Via a press release, Prince Albert’s office was keen to share the reasons for her absence. “H.S.H. Princess Charlene’s convalescence is currently progressing in a satisfactory and very encouraging manner,” it reads. Mentioning then that her “recovery as well as the follow-up of her dental care” should still take a few more weeks…
The experts were convinced by her presence
Taking into account the fragile health of Charlene of Monaco, several experts of the Royal Center website were very optimistic, on January 9, at the idea of seeing the princess again for the Sainte-Devote. Because the princess has never, in the past, missed this event or any of the rituals that honor her.
Before she left for South Africa to support the work of her foundation, the people of the principality had only seen the princess for a few minutes before she left. Since her return last November, they have been hoping to see her again at this ceremony…
