Charlene of Monaco interned: Prince Albert’s blunt words on her state of health

On February 17, Prince Albert confided in the pages of Monaco Matin about the state of health of his wife.

When will Charlene of Monaco return to the Rock? This is the question that many Monegasques are asking, worried about the absence of the princess for almost a year. As a reminder, in March 2021, Charlene of Monaco had gone to South Africa, her native country, to attend the funeral of the Zulu king Goodwill Zwelithini. But the stay, which was supposed to last only two and a half weeks, was finally extended to 8 months. The reason? Suffering from ENT problems, the princess had to undergo several operations as well as a period of convalescence before being able to briefly meet her family in Monaco, last November. Once there, Charlene was quickly sent to an undisclosed facility in Switzerland to rest. “There is a fat

igue, not only physical, which can be treated by a period of rest and by a follow-up,” had confided Albert of Monaco. But Princess Charlene, who appeared metamorphosed last November, could well make her return very soon on the Rock. “Princess Charlene is much better and I hope she will be back very soon in the principality,” said the prince on Thursday. If this statement still leaves a blur on the date of Charlene’s return, it remains more encouraging than the one dated December 23 in which Albert said that his wife would still have “for a few months” before being recovered.
Charlene of Monaco: these key dates she missed

With almost a year of absence on the counter, Charlene of Monaco has missed several key dates of the Monegasque principality. We count in particular the national holiday of the Rock, celebrated on November 19th, as well as the Saint-Devote, patron saint of the principality, celebrated last January 26th and 27th.
