Albert of Monaco hurt by rumors of divorce with Charlene: It’s sad and lamentable

Nine months after Charlene’s departure from the principality of Monaco, Albert of Monaco explained that he is affected by the divorce rumors, Wednesday, October 27, 2021, in Point of View.

Absent from the Rock since last February, Charlene of Monaco is at the heart of scoffing rumors that curtail her couple. Stuck in South Africa after an infection of the ENT sphere, the princess would not seek to flee her husband Albert of Monaco, and even less their twins Jacques and Gabriella. The former swimmer would be as affected as her husband by these slanders. Grace Kelly’s son spoke to the weekly French magazine, which specializes in royal topics, and regretted the gossip: “How could I pretend that these articles did not affect me? Of course, these publications that appeared in various places were extremely disturbing and hurtful. For my wife, for me and for Monaco. When the comments are unfounded, composed of completely fabricated elements of appreciation, it is sad and lamentable.” The consequences of a bad communication strategy?

“My wife did not want to talk too much about her very personal health problems, we had preferred the option of communicating little about it. Like many things in life, it was a question of balance and making choices,” he said. The vice-president of the Monegasque Red Cross underwent a last surgical operation in early October: “She is doing much better. This last operation which concerned the nasal septum went well. We will be able to consider her return very soon.”

A return for the end of year celebrations?

Albert of Monaco remains evasive, assuring a certain return before next July: “I can tell you that she will be in Monaco well before the national holiday. It is not possible for me to give you the exact date, but I promise you will know when the time comes.” Will Charlene be able to spend Christmas with her children?
