The Prince Albert II Foundation organized its annual awards ceremony. Many actions in favor of the Earth were rewarded. This edition was followed by a performance.
This Friday, October 29, 2021 took place the ceremony of the Prince Albert II Foundation of Monaco. On this occasion, the monarch – Prince Albert II – gave many awards as reported by the media Histoire Royales. The objective was to reward actions related to the respect of the planet. The founder of the NGO Greenwave and fisherman, Bren Smith or the 17 years old activist for water rights, Autumn Peltier, were rewarded.
Ségolène Royal, wearing a white outfit, was also present at this evening under the sign of the environment. As a reminder, this political figure was Minister of the Environment under François Mitterrand (from 1992 to 1993) as well as at the side of former President François Hollande (from 2014 to 2017). Most recently, she held the position of Ambassador of the Poles (from 2017 to 2020).
A committed representation
For this 15th anniversary, the wife of actor Robert Redfort, Sibylle Szaggars Redford, presented her new artistic creation: “The Way of the Rain – Hope for Earth”. A work that was realized in collaboration with the composer Tim Janis and Floyd Thomas McBe, visual director. The dialogues were written by her husband. Our colleagues from Monaco Life called this show “an ode to the powerful beauty of nature while drawing attention to the vulnerability of the Earth caused by climate change.
